(a) whether the Government proposes to export nuclear reactors;
(b) if so, the details of the countries to which these reactors
are likely to be exported alongwith the foreign exchange likely to
be earned therefrom;
(c) whether the Government is able to meet its own future
requirement of these reactors; and
(d) if not, the reasons for the said export?

(a) Yes, Sir.
(b) Preliminary discussions in this regard are in progress with
Kazakhstan. The details of foreign exchange likely to be earned will
be known only if proposals in this regard take final shape.
(c) The future requirements of these reactors can be met indigenously
from Indian industries both in the public and private sector.
(d) Does not arise.
