(a) the total number of highways constructed in Gujarat during the last three years;
(b) the total length of these highways along with the expenditure incurred thereon; and
(c) the total number of new highways proposed in the State along with the financial allocation made for the purpose?

(a) & (b) An aggregate length of 578 km of National Highways has been constructed during last three years with an expenditure of Rs. 766.00 crore in the state of Gujarat.
(c) The development and maintenance of National Highways (NHs) is a continuous process. Ministry allocates funds state-wise and not NH wise. The work are accordingly taken up on NHs from time to time as per inter-se-priority, traffic density and availability of funds to keep road in traffic worthy conditions.
