Question : Works under SBM

(a) the details of the works done so far under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) in Sheohar district of Bihar;
(b) the number of people benefited under the SBM in Sheohar district of Bihar; and
(c) the details of the works that remained to be completed till date in the district under the SBM and the time by which these are likely to be completed?

(a) 52,701 individual household latrines (IHHLs) have been constructed in Sheohar district of Bihar under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) from 2.10.2014 to 24.7.2018.
(b) Estimated 2,63,505 persons (at the rate of 5 persons per household) have been benefitted under SBM(G) in Sheohar district.
(c) With reference to the baseline survey data, 59,324 rural households in the district are still not having toilets, as on 24.7.2018. As per the Annual Implementation Plan for 2018-19 submitted by the State of Bihar, toilets will be constructed in all the remaining households by 31.03.2019.
