Will the Minister of ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government proposes to set up an “IT Park” in the Parliamentary Constituency of Darbhanga (Bihar);
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which the said park will be set up?
(a) to (c): Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an autonomous society under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is establishing STPI center at Darbhanga (Bihar). The STPI centre is funded from internal accruals. STPI has engaged services of a project consultant to design the STPI centre. Timelines of STPI Centre are dependent upon the finalised design.
