(a) : Yes, Sir.
(b) and (c): The Department of Tourism, Government of India has introduced the
following schemes during the current financial year to grant Financial Assistance to the State Governments/UT Administrations: -
(i) Integrated Development of Tourist Circuits (Central Sector)
(ii) Product/Infrastructure and Destination Development (Centrally Sponsored
Scheme )
(iii) Large Revenue Generating Projects (Centrally Sponsored Scheme)
(iv) Capacity Building for Service Providers (Central Sector)
During the Tenth Plan, annually six integrated circuit projects will be taken up and in addition one Destination Development project in each State/UT will also be taken up for implementation.
