Question : ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT



(a) the funds sanctioned/allocated/utilized for the training programmes undertaken/activities being run by the Government and the targets set/achieved, scheme/ project-wise, State-wise, Ministry/ Department-wise;

(b) the extent to which the State Governments / Non- Governmental Organisations are proposed to be involved in the said programmes;

(c) whether any proposal to launch training programmes have been received by the Government from various State Governments; and

(d) if so, the details thereof and the reaction of the Government thereon, proposal-wise ?

MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) IN THE MINISTRY OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT & ENTREPRENEURSHIP (SHRI RAJIV PRATAP RUDY)

(a) Currently, the National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) under this Ministry collects and compiles information on skill development programmes. The financial allocations for skill development programme as per NSDA are given at Annexure I. The year wise target and achievement of skill development during the last three years and the current year by various Ministry/ Departments is given below.
