Question : NEW RAIL PROJECTS IN CENTRAL RAILWAY, MUMBAI

(a) whether the Central Railway has approved and sanctioned the new rail projects of FOBs, extension of FOBs, repairing for Railway stations between Kurla-Mulund and Kurla-Mankhurd recently;

(b) if so, the details thereof alongwith fund allocated therefor;

(c) the target fixed for completion of work alongwith present status thereof;

(d) whether due to construction of 6th line at Mulund, the access and approach of Mulund (East) is going to become difficult;

(e) whether Railway Prabasi Sangh, local MP has discussed this difficulty with the concerned Engineering staff of Central Railway, Mumbai; and

(f) if so, the steps taken to solve the problem?

(I) New Foot Over Bridges (FOBs)-

(II) No new FOB has been sanctioned in Kurla-Mankhurd section.
