(a) whether the Government have taken a decision to help State Governments to set
up Power Projects during the Tenth Plan period to achieve the targeted power production
of 44,000 MW in the said period;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the National Thermal Power Corporation Limited has agreed to offer to
the State Governments to expertise in residual life assessment of existing power plants of
the State Governments; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?
