(a) whether the Government has plans to collect additional revenue in view of the
increasing expenditure on the projects and schemes related to Commonwealth Games, 2010 to be
held in the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof and reasons therefor; and
(c) the present status thereof?

(a): There are no proposals presently under consideration of the Government of India for
introduction of new tax measures to collect additional revenue in view of the increasing
expenditure on the projects and schemes related to Commonwealth Games, 2010 to be held in
the country;
(b) & (c) : In view of (a) above, do not arise.
