(a) the details of the mills run by National Textile Corporation (NTC) in the country;
(b) the installed capacity of these mills and their actual production during each of the last three years, mill-wise and Statewise;
(c) whether the Government proposes to modernise these mills in order to increase their production capacity; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the steps being taken/proposed to be taken by the Government thereon, mill-wise?

(a): The details of 23 mills run by National Textile Corporation (NTC) at present is given in Annexure-I.
(b): The installed capacity of these mills and their actual production during each of the last three years, mill wise and state wise is given in Annexure-II & III.
(c) & (d): NTC, being a BIFR referred Company, implements revival schemes approved by BIFR under which these 23 mills have already been revived and modernized.
