(a) whether the Government has received any proposal from the State Government of Madhya
Pradesh for the release of remaining compensation amount of Rs. 308.68 lakh to complete the
pending rehabilitation works pertaining to the rural families displaced due to establishment of
the Kunopalpur Sanctuary;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which this amount is likely to be sanctioned and released ?

(a) to (c) Based on the proposal received from the Government of Madhya Pradesh,Central
Government has already released Rs.1545 lakh by 2007-08 for the relocation and rehabilitation of
1545 families from Kuno Palpur Wildlife Sanctuary, under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme -
Development of National Parks and Sanctuaries. The last payment was made during 2007-08 and no
release in this regard is pending with the Government of India.
