(a): Yes, Sir.

(b): In pursuance of the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, Government of India has already constituted Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). The objective of this Authority is to promote consistency of domestic food standards with that of international technical food standards.

(c): Does not arise.

(d): Does not arise.

(e): Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) while framing regulations specifies standards under this Act by taking into account the existing international standards and practices.
