(a): Yes Sir.
(b) & (c): The details of the approvals given and the salient features of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) Phase – II are as follows:
i. Construction of 1.95 crore PMAY-G houses from 2019-20 to 2021-22.
ii. Target of construction of 60 lakh PMAY-G houses with financial implication of Rs.76,500 crore (Central Share of Rs. 48,195 crore and State share of Rs.28,305 crore) as per the existing norms of PMAY-G Phase-I
iii. Continuation of the scheme beyond 2019-20 upto 2021-22 in the next Finance Commission cycle, after due appraisal and approval based on third party evaluation of scheme/programme as per the extant procedure.
iv. Inclusion of additional eligible households from the final Awaas+ list into the Permanent Wait List (PWL) of PMAY-G, with a ceiling of 1.95 Cr., on priority for those States / UTs where PWL is exhausted and allocate target to these States / UTs with the approval of the Minister of Rural Development in consultation with the Ministry of Finance.
v. Borrowing for additional financial requirement through existing mechanism of Extra Budgetary Resources (EBR) till the validity of the scheme.
(d) & (e): Ministry of Rural Development has developed a mobile application “Awaas+” to capture the details of households (houseless households and/or households living in kuccha houses as defined by Socio Economic Caste Census, 2011) who though eligible for assistance under PMAY-G but could not be included in the Permanent Wait List (PWL). This mobile application “Awaas+” captured the details of the potential beneficiary households along with geo-tagged photo of their present dwelling and proposed site of construction. The States / UTs have uploaded details of 3.53 crore potential households using the mobile application till the last date i.e.7th March, 2019. After due scrutiny and validation, the eligible households would be included in the Permanent Wait List of PMAY-G for providing assistance. The State/UT wise details of number of potential households captured in Awaas+ is given in Annexure-I and details in respect of District Satna is given in Annexure-II.
