(a) whether the Union Government has given any direction to the State Government of Manipur regarding the administration of the Hill Areas of the State under Article 371(C) (2) of the Constitution;
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor;
(c) whether any report/recommendation on the administration of the hill areas of Manipur has been received by the Government over the years; and
(d) if so, the details and outcome thereof?

(a) to (d): No direction has been given by the Union Government to the state Government of Manipur regarding the administration of the Hill Areas.
Governor of Manipur has sent Annual Reports to the President of India regarding administration of the Hill Areas of Manipur upto 2010-11 under Article 371(c)(2) of the Constitution of India after collecting detailed information of activities taken up in the Hill Districts from the State Government.
