(a) whether the Government has approved the affiliation of hundred schools of Government and private sector with Sainik school society from the academic year 2022-23 in line with the National Education Policy and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether a large number of youth from Satna district of Madhya Pradesh are serving in the Army; and
(c) if so, the action plan of the Government to open new Sainik schools in the State of Madhya Pradesh particularly in Satna district?
(a) & (c): The Government has approved a scheme for setting up of 100 Sainik Schools in partnership with NGO’s/Private schools/ State Governments, etc. on affiliation basis. Interested parties in any State/Union Territory, including Madhya Pradesh can apply for affiliation to the Sainik Schools Society subject to their fulfilling of the qualifying requirements and adherence to affiliation bye-laws.
(b) The approximate strength of Indian Army serving personnel from Satna District of Madhya Pradesh is 39 Officers and 3233 Junior Commissioned Officers/Other Ranks.
