(a) whether Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has
successfully developed pilotless aircraft `Laksya`;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the progress made in developing supersonic cruise missile on the lines of
Lakshya`s technology?

(a) Yes, Sir. DRDO has developed Pilotless aircraft – Lakshya.
(b) The reusable Unmanned Aerial Target Vehicle `Lakshya` is used for
evaluation of surface to air missiles and training the crews. It has been developed.
(c) Lakshya is a subsonic target for firing practice of missiles. Supersonic cruise
missile needs entirely a new technology.
