(a) whether proper legal provisions are in place to protect bystanders or
good Samaritans, who help injured persons on the road from being
subjected to prolonged legal formalities and court procedures and if so,
the details thereof;
(b) whether the Government proposes to introduce a national legislation
for the protection of good Samaritans, who help those in distress, from
any kind of legal or procedural hassles;
(c) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the steps taken by the Government in this regard?
