(a) whether the Government provides financial assistance to strengthen infrastructure under the
Intensive Dairy Development Project (IDDP);
(b) if so, the details thereof including funds allocated, released and utilised during the last three
years and the current year;
(c) whether there is any restraint in timely disbursement of funds under the IDDP;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) the action taken by the Government to check restraints in flow of funds under the said
scheme?

(a) Yes.
(b) Under Intensive Dairy Development Programme, financial assistance is provided for creating
infrastructure to improve procurement, processing and marketing of milk in addition to other
components like manpower development, technical inputs, working capital etc. The details of
funds allocated, released and utilized by the implementing agencies during last three years
and the current year (till 30.09.2010) is as follows:-
