(a) whether the Central Government has set up an Investment Tracking System for all major projects in the private sector and those under the public private partnership worth Re. 1,000 crore and above;
(b) if so, the facts in this regard and the achievement of the system so far;
(c) the number of projects reported delayed and the reasons cited thereby. Ministry / Department / State / bank-wise since inception of the system; and {d) the measures taken or proposed to be taken thereon?

(a) and (b): With a view to putting in place an institutional mechanism to track stalled investment projects, bail in the public and private sectors and to remove implementation bottlenecks in these projects, a Cell in the nature of Project Monitoring Group (PMG) has been set up in the Cabinet Secretarial for alt large projects, both public and private since June. 2013. On this portal any project propcnent can upload the issues for resolution. As on 28.07.2014 PMG accepted 354 such projects with investment of Rs 1,000 crore and above in each project with a total investment of Rs.21,73,767 crore. Out of which 118 projects with tola! investment of Rs. 5,56,545 crore have been resolved.
(c) and (d)` Out of 354 projects accepted by PMG, 236 projects, indicated in the Table below, with investment of Rs. 16,17,222 crore are yet to be resolved These projects have got delayed due to pendency of various clearances including Regulatory / Statutory clearances by different agencies in Central Government and State- Governments apart from various other issues pertaining to the proponents of the project:
