(a) whether the post of VC in Maulana Azad National Urdu University in Hyderabad lying vacant;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Search-cum-Selection Committee has been constituted to recruit new VC for above university; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) and (b) At present, the charge of Vice Chancellor is being looked after as per the provisions of Maulana Azad National Urdu University Act, 1996.
(c) and (d) Yes, Sir. The appointment of Vice Chancellor is under process.
