(a) to (d): Revised Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) in Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) was introduced by the Government in May, 2000. The provisions of this revised VRS Scheme cover financially sound CPSEs that can sustain a scheme of VRS on their own surplus resources as well as the marginal profits or loss-making enterprises / sick and unviable units. Implementation of the VRS Scheme in the different categories of CPSEs, as per the provisions of the Revised VRS Scheme, is monitored by the concerned administrative Ministries / Departments
