(a) whether the Government have not stopped the collection of User`s Fee at Calicut Airport although the runway of airport has been extended;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Government have permitted the airlines of other countries to start International Flights from Calicut Airport since the runway has been extended to 9000 feet;
(d) if so, whether flights for Haj are likely to start from Calicut Airport; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) and (b):- Users` Development Additional Fee (UDAF) is being collected from International embarking passengers at the rate of Rs. 375 at Calicut airport. The UDAF will be in force till the interest required to be paid on the loan raised from HUDCO is fully recovered.
(c):- Calicut airport has not been granted as a point of call to any foreign airlines.
(d) and (e):- Haj flight are likely to be operated from Calicut airport during Haj-2002 movement.
