Question : Pending Highway Projects in Bihar

(a) whether various National Highways (NHs) projects related to the State of Bihar are pending before the Government;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether any time frame have been fixed for completion of the said projects; and

(d) the amount allocated and released by the Government for the maintenance and operation of NHs in the State during the last three years and the current year?

(a) to (c ) There is no proposal pending in this Ministry submitted by State Road Construction Department (RCD), Bihar on National Highways.
(d) The amount allocated and expenditure made under the maintenance head on National Highways in Bihar for the stretches entrusted to Bihar RCD during the last three years and current year are as below:

In addition to above the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has sanctioned Rs. 287.70 Crore and incurred expenditure of Rs. 263.84 Crore during the last three year and current year for maintenance and O&M works of National Highways in Bihar.
