(a) the details of the toilets constructed till now under Swachh Bharat Mission, State/UT-wise;
(b) whether all the toilets thus constructed are being provided with enough and proper water supply;
(c) if so, the details thereof;
(d) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(e) the steps taken/being taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) State/UT-wise number of Individual household latrines (IHHLs) constructed under Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) [SBM (G)] till 08.02.2021 are given at Annexure.
(b) to (e) SBM(G) Guidelines provide for water storage facility for toilets and hand-washing. As per the Report of National Annual Rural Sanitation Survey conducted during the year 2019-20 by Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation through an independent verification agency, 99.6% of the rural households having access to toilets, had availability of water for toilet usage. Further, Government has launched Jal Jeevan Mission which aims at providing Functional Household Tap Connection to every rural household.
