(a): The mandate of this Department is to implement of the schemes of educational, economic and social empowerment of Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Senior Citizens, victims of Drug Abuse, transgenders, Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNTs).
This Department provides financial assistance to Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) who work for the welfare of Scheduled Castes, Senior Citizens and in the field of Drug Prevention.
(b): The details of the list of NGOs in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu is given at Annexure-I.
(c): The details of fund allocation to the NGOs of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu is given at Annexure-II.
(d) : The State-wise list of NGO registered with NIT AAYOG is available on DARPAN portal of NITI AAYOG under following link:
