(a) whether the Government has taken note of the decline in production and performance of the heavy industries sector in the country during the last three years;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and
(c) the corrective steps being taken by the Government in this regard ?

(a): The Department of Heavy Industry (DHI) is concerned with Automotive Sector and Capital Goods Sector. No such decline has been noted in growth of both of these Sectors during the last three years.
