(a) Whether the Government is considering to develop Nature Parks in various parts of
the country;
(b) If so, the number of such Parks developed so far, State-wise;
(c) Whether the Government has decided to provide financial assistance to private
parties for the development of such Parks;
(d) If so, the details thereof; and
(e) the total funds allocated during the last three years for this purpose, State-wise and
year-wise?

(a)& (b) The Ministry of Environment and Forests does not have any specific proposal to
develop ‘Nature Parks’ in the country, However, the following recognized zoos with the
name as ‘Nature Park’ exist, which were established prior to 2000:
