(a) whether the Government proposes to develop Minority dominated villages areas as ''Cyber Grams'' under Rashtriya Jan Vikas Yojana if so, the details thereof; and
(b) the number regions selected for the said scheme in the State of Gujarat and Jharkhand in first phase ?

(a) & (b) There is no scheme named Rashtriya Jan Vikas Yojana under the Ministry of Minority Affairs. However, there is already a component of ‘Cyber Gram” under another scheme of this Ministry namely Multi-sectoral Development Programme for imparting basic Information and Communication Technology(ICT) skills to students of Schools and Madrasas located in Minority Concentration Blocks/Towns to enable them to become digitally literate. The initiative covers students of Class VI to Class X belonging to notified Minority Communities residing in minority concentration areas. Under the initiative, training projects for 399657 students of Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Tripura, Rajasthan and Maharashtra have been approved.
