Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES
(SHRI NARAYAN RANE)

(a): State/UT-wise total number of beneficiaries i.e. Interest Subsidy Eligibility Certificates (ISEC) issued to Khadi Institutions (KIs) under ISEC Scheme during the financial year 2020-21 is annexed.

(b): Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is a statutory body working under the Ministry of MSME, is the nodal agency for disbursement of ISEC. State/Divisional offices of KVIC are making continuous efforts by placing proposals in State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) to extend Bank Finance to the eligible KIs under ISEC scheme. Further, KVIC has developed an online portal for disbursement of interest subsidy directly into the bank account of Khadi Institutions thereby avoiding the delay and made easier for claiming the interest subsidy.
