(a) Whether it is true that the Union Government has launched a one-time amnesty scheme in March,2020 for resolution of legacy disputes on the lines of ‘Sabka Vishwas’ and ‘Vivad Se Vishwas’ pertaining to customs duty;
(b) if so, the details thereof along with the total number of applications which have been received under this scheme from various corporates/industrialists to resolve past disputes related to customs classifications, disagreements over valuation and rules of origin issues etc.;
(c) whether it is also true that around 1.7 million pending compliance related forms have been filed by about 5 lakh companies to made good their pending filing related defaults till December 31, 2020;
(d) If so, the details thereof including the total number of pending cases resolved and number of companies that benefitted through this one time amnesty scheme; and
(e) the total income generated through this amnesty scheme - as on date?
