Question : FREIGHT RATES FOR TRANSPORTATION OF COAL

(a) whether the Railways have prepared any plan for classification of freight rates for transportation of coal;

(b) if so, whether the Coal India Limited has requested the Ministry of Railways to reduce the freight rates for transportation of coal; and

(c) if so, the response of the Railways thereto?
