(a): The Oil Companies conduct periodic surveys in various parts of the country including National State Highways to identify locations where economically viable retail outlet dealerships can be set up. The economically viable locations meeting the Volume-Distance Norms are included in the Marketing Plan of the Oil Industry.
(b) to (d): The Oil Companies propose to set up 1113 more retail outlet dealerships on various National State Highways (in the `D` class of markets) in the country. Of these, 660 retail outlet dealerships are pending for allotment.
(e): It is not possible, at this stage, to indicate the time by which these dealerships will be allotted.
