(a), (b) & (c): The details of ongoing State sector projects with World Bank assistance in Maharashtra are:

There are no ongoing state-sector Asian Development Bank (ADB) and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) projects in Maharashtra.

(d): The projects above are in sectors such as health, rural water supply and infrastructure sectors. The area of work of these projects involves, improving access of rural households to improved and sustainable drinking water supply and sanitation services; facilitation of urban economic growth and improvement in quality of life by developing an efficient urban transport system; assisting the local government to improve the efficiency of health resources; and improving the performance of health care system. The work on the above activities in various parts of the State is currently under implementation in order to achieve the development objectives of these projects.
