Question : Phase II of PMGSY in Karnataka

(a) whether the Government is aware that Phase II of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) has been implemented in the State of Karnataka, if so, the details thereof;

(b) the details of projects taken up under Phase II of PMGSY in Karnataka and during the last three years, district-wise;

(c) whether the Government has established any mechanism to ensure the completion of the works taken up under Phase II of PMGSY within stipulated time-frame and if so, the details thereof along with the status of the progress of the said projects in Karnataka; and

(d) whether the Government has allocated adequate funds for the said projects and if so, the details thereof during the last three years?

(a): Phase II of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana has been implemented in the state of Karnataka. The state has been sanctioned 2241.178 km length against which 2212.433 km has been completed under PMGSY-II.

(b): The State has completed 967.09 km of road length during the last three years under PMGSY II. The details of projects taken up under PMGSY-II in Karnataka during the last three years, district-wise is Annexed.

(c): The State of Karnataka was sanctioned 2,241.178 Km road length under PMGSY-II and as reported by the State, 2212.433 km feasible road length stands completed.

(d): Yes, the State of Karnataka has been provided fund as per their requirement. The details of fund released during the last three years are as under:-
