Question : TESTING STANDARDS FOR TYRE

(a) whether All India Tyre Dealers` Federation has asked the Government to formulate and enforce stringent and accountable tyre testing standards in tune with the norms in other countries;

(b) if so, the steps taken in this regard;

(c) whether it has come to the notice of the Government that the tyres which carry the ISI mark are far below the international standards; and

(d) if so, the steps taken in this regard?
