(a) whether the Government is considering any plan or proposal to set up new Ayurveda colleges in the National Capital Territory of Delhi;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the number of Ayurvedic Colleges functioning in the country State/UT-wise including Maharashtra; and
(d) the total number of students pursuing post graduate courses in these colleges, State/UT-wise?

(a)No Sir, at present No proposal to set up new Ayurveda Colleges in the National Capital Territory of Delhihas been received for the academic session 2022-23.
(b) In view of (a), information is Nil.
(c) At present there are four hundred forty nine (449) AyurvedicCollegesfunctioning in the country including Maharashtra. The State-wise/UT-wisedetails are placed at Annexure-I.
(d) The Number of Post-Graduate (PG) Intake Capacity in these Ayurveda Colleges for the academic session 2021-22 is attached as Annexure-II.
