Question : Development of Religious Sites of Andhra Pradesh under PRASAD Scheme

(a) whether the Government has taken up any work in the State of Andhra Pradesh to be implemented under PRASAD Scheme and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether the popular pilgrimage places like, Tirupathi, Antarvedi, Annavaram Temples in East Godavari District, and Simhachalam Temple in Visakhapatnam and in Arasavalli Temple in Srikakulam District and Goddess Durga temple of Vijayawada in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh have been included under PRASAD Scheme; and
(c) if so, the funds sanctioned and allocated for each temple?

(a): Ministry of Tourism has sanctioned the following projects in Andhra Pradesh under PRASHAD Scheme:

i. “Development of Amaravati Town, Guntur District as a Tourist Destination” approved in 2015-16 at the cost of Rs.28.36 Crore. The amount Rs.22.69 has been released so far.
ii. “Development of Srisailam Temple in Andhra Pradesh under PRASHAD Scheme” approved in 2017-18 at the cost of Rs.47.45 Crore. The amount Rs.37.96 Crore has been released so far.
