(a) whether it is true that more than 30 project proposals from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are pending before his Ministry for grant of environment clearance;
(b) if so, the details of each of the pending projects along with the time of its pendency;
(c) the details of various stages of clearance of each project, project-wise; and
(d) the reasons for pendency of projects and the time by which the pending project proposals are likely to be cleared?

(a), (b), (c) & (d) As per the procedure given in the EIA Notification, 2006 and its amendments, the final EIA/EMP reports along with public consultations including public hearing proceedings are to be submitted by Project Proponent for grant of Environmental Clearance (EC). After examination of completeness these documents by the Division, the proposals are referred to Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) for appraisal. The concerned EAC after appraisalprovides categorical recommendations such as recommended for grant of EC, deferred for want of additional information and rejected along with reasons. A total of 20 projects from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are at various stages of appraisal for grant of Environmental Clearance (EC).The list of 20 projects along with status of each project is enclosed as Annexure-1.
