(a) whether the Government is aware that Guwahati and Dibrugarh Radio centres run
without powerful transmitters;
(b) whether there is any proposal to upgrade both the Centres; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and the time by which these are likely to be upgraded?

(a), (b) & (c) : No Sir. Prasar Bharati has informed that AIR, Guwahati and Dibrugarh
already have High Power Transmitters. Therefore, there is no proposal to upgrade the
power of transmitters at these places.
