(a) whether a project has been launched for elimination of
child labour in Andhra Pradesh funded by the International
Development of UK with Co-operation of the I.L.O.;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether such projects are likely to be started in other
States also; and
(d) if so, the details in this regard?

(a) & (b) : Yes, Sir. As per the information received from
I.L.O., a project for the elimination of child labour is being
funded by the Department for International Development, U.K. and
is being executed by the I.L.O. The project has a duration of
two years and is aimed at reducing the number of working children
through the development and implementation of replicable pilot
interventions.
(c) & (d) : This is the only State-level Project currently
under implementation by the ILO with this Ministry.
