Question : Salary to KV Teachers

(a) whether the Government has received a representation regarding denial of salary and other perks to Kendriya Vidyalaya employees during Covid-19 pandemic;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the response of the Government;
(c) whether the Government has received a representation of Ex-PGT Biology, Kendriya Vidyalaya, CECRI, Karaikudi, Sivaganga regarding denial of Salary, recovery of salary and other benefits;
(d) if so, the details thereof;
(e) whether the Government has given a reply of Unstarred Question on 08.03.21 that the Government has not denied salary and other benefits of Government employees including Kendriya Vidyalaya teachers during Covid-19 pandemic; and
(f) if so, the details thereof and the response of the Government thereto?

(a) to (d) Yes, Sir. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has informed that a few representations from employees have been received, which have been disposed of. Instructions have also been issued by KVS in this regard. A representation dated 13.10.2020 was also received by KVS from Ex-Post Graduate Teacher (Biology), Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), CECRI, Karaikudi for non-payment of salary. The representation was disposed of by KVS by way of granting leave of kind due.
(e) & (f) Yes, Sir. A copy of the reply to the Lok Sabha Unstarred Question No. 2207 dated 08.03.2021 is annexed.
