Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) IN THE MINISTRY OF COAL AND MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) IN THE MINISTRY OF STATISTICS & PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION (SHRI SRIPRAKASH JAISWAL)

(a) & (b): Coal blocks to the various public and private companies are allocated for meeting their coal requirements for the specified linked end use projects.

(c) to (e): Allocation of captive coal blocks is an on-going process and applications for allocation of blocks are called from time to time. However, as on date, there are no captive coal blocks on offer hence no applications are under consideration.
