(a) whether the Government proposes to provide financial assistance to the potato producers in various States including West Bengal to boost the export of potato;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government has adopted a uniform policy in the country regarding export of potato; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

a) & b): The Government, through APEDA, provides financial assistance to its registered exporters under its various schemes for Infrastructure Development, Quality Development, Market Promotion, Research & Development and Transport Assistance Scheme.
c) & d): The Government in the Foreign Trade Policy permits export of potatoes, from any state, without any restriction.
