(a) whether the Government has prepared any scheme to launch a campaign for encouraging children to learn science and mathematics and if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether the Government also proposes to provide scholarships to promote research work in science and mathematics in universities; and
(c) if so, the details thereof?

(a): Yes, Madam. The Government is working towards launching Rashtriya Aavishkar Abhiyan to motivate and engage children in Science, Mathematics and Technology through observation, experimentation, inference drawing, model building, etc. both inside and outside classroom activities and processes.
(b) & (c) : Research fellowships are awarded to scholars through University Grant Commission which also include research work in science and mathematics.
