Question : CROSS BORDER TRADE AND MOVEMENTS

(a) whether there is any proposal to expand and ease the cross border movement of people and trade in Jammu and Kashmir;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether there is any plan to open more routes along the Line of Control and International Border like Suchetgarh- Sialkote in Jammu, Kargil-Skardu in Kargil and Turtuk-Khapulu in Leh for trade and movement of people;

(d) the steps being taken by the Government towards expanding cross border movement of people and facilitation of trade between the two parts of Kashmir to strengthen the confidence building measure; and

(e) if so, the details thereof?
