(a) whether the Government has set any time-frame for the upgradation of Akashvani Kendras as alternative arrangement in view of closure of old Doordarshan Kendras;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the current status of such Kendras of Madhya Pradesh; and
(c) if not, the steps being taken by the Government in regard to making such alternate arrangement for closed Doordarshan Kendras?

(a) to (c): Prasar Bharati has informed that they have utilized various Doordarshan setups for expansion of AIR FM services. Presently, Prasar Bharati has a scheme for setting up 100 W AIR FM transmitters at DD LPT locations by utilizing existing Doordarshan resources (building, tower, manpower etc) including 13 DD LPT locations in Madhya Pradesh.
