(a): In the current biennium 2000-01 approximately US $
6,00,000 have been allocated by WHO for various activities
under National Cancer Control Programme. In the last
biennium 1998-99, the allocation was US $ 3,53,000.
(b): Amount spent during the biennium 1998-99 is at Annexure-I.
(c): The activities were carried out successfully.
(d): No such proposal is planned or pending.
(e): Not applicable.
(f) to (h): The Central Government has a scheme to provide
assistance to different States for prevention and treatment
of cancer.
