Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) the present status of Ayushman Bharat Yojana;
(b) the State-wise amount of the funds allocated in this regard;
(c) the name of the States which are spending the allocated funds properly;
(d) whether the said scheme is being implemented in North-East States including Assam on a large scale; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centres (AB-HWCs) is being implemented in all States/ UTs except UT of Delhi. On the basis of the proposals received from States/ UTs, approvals for 52,744 AB-HWCs have been accorded so far. Out of these, 19,567 AB-HWCs are operational as on 5th July, 2019 as reported by the States/UTs. The details are at Annexure- I.
The present status of implementation of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is at Annexure-II.
(b) State-wise allocation of funds for AB-H&WCs under NHM for the F.Y. 2019-20 is at annexure III.
In Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), the funds are allocated on PAN India basis and accordingly, Rs.6400 crore have been have been allocated at the Budget Estimate stage. The funds are released to the State/UT based on their receipt of proposal after due compliance and furnishing of requisite information. No adverse information has been received in this regard.
