(a) whether it is true that the Madarsa teachers under Centrally Sponsored Scheme for Providing Quality Education in Madarsas (SPQEM) Yojna have not received salaries for few years particularly in Uttarakhand;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor; and
(c) the time by which the Government proposes to pay the salary to the madarsa teachers?

(a) to (c): The Ministry of Education has released a total of Rs. 325.35 crore to various State Governments including Uttarakhand during 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 (till date) under Scheme for Providing Quality Education in Madrassa (SPQEM). Out of this amount, Rs.6.89 crore has been released to Uttarakhand. The State Government releases the funds to the concerned Madrassas which includes honorarium for teachers.
