(a) the details of steps taken by the Government for improving the enforcement capabilities of State Level Coordination Committees of the Narcotics Control Bureau, State-wise; and
(b) the financial outlay given to various States for improving their capabilities for tackling narcotics related issues during each of the last three years and the current year, State-wise?

(a) The State Level Coordination Committees function under the control of respective State Governments and are chaired by Chief Secretary/Senior Secretary of the State Government. However, to enhance the enforcement capabilities of the States, Central Government provides financial assistance under the scheme “Assistance to States/UTs”. The details of the scheme are at Annexure-A.
Narcotics Control Bureau regularly coordinates with various training Academies and Drug Enforcement Agencies for organizing training course on Drug Law Enforcement (DLE) and Computer Based Training (CBT). 187 such DLE trainings and 114 CBTs were organized during the period 01.04.2015 to 31.10.2015 wherein the personnel of State Police Forces, State Excise, Forest Department and Courier Agencies were trained.
Narcotics Control Bureau procures and provides the Drug Detection Kits to all Drug Law Enforcement Agencies including State agencies in the country as per the demand for on the spot detection of drugs.
